Course Description

This multi-genre course is designed to provide students in the MFA program with foundational skills for success in Lindenwood’s MFA program. We will focus on fundamentals of genre and craft through reading deeply, writing thoughtfully, and interacting mindfully as we learn skills in workshopping. Fundamentals of living the writing life such as goal-setting, reading as writers, building community, and life-long learning are also central to this course.
