Course Description

This Workshop course is designed to give writers an introduction to writing short or long-form fiction for readers 8 and up. Students will compose and critique original work for the Middle Grade Fiction audiences (typically thought of as grades 3-7. Students will compose an original work, read about the craft of writing Middle Grade Fiction by publishers and authors such as Jane Yolen, Philip Pullman, Gail Carson Levine and more.
