Leadership and Supervision

Angie Royal is director of Student Involvement. She holds a BS in Workforce Education and Development, with a Business Education Specialization, and an MS in Higher Education with a College Student Personnel Specialization from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Higher Education with an Educational Leadership specialization at Lindenwood University.

To Angie, Q2 represents an opportunity to create a true student-centered culture on our campus. Angie’s work as a fellow will focus on how faculty and staff define quality leadership, on how the manner in which we lead can impact students’ experience at Lindenwood, and how we can take that information to create a formal leadership training program for faculty and staff.  

Fellowship Goals

• Become highly proficient in leadership and management, including best practices, to enable employees to be successful system leaders. 
• Identify strategic areas for additional leadership support system-wide. 
• Offer mentoring services to employees and supervisors on the subject area.
