Lindenwood Learning Community

How stereotypes affects us and what we can doAre you interested in reading more about how stereotypes and potential bias can affect the university climate and what we can do as informed allies? The Learning Academy is recruiting faculty and staff participants for a Lindenwood Learning Community.

In the fall semester, we will be reading the book Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do by Claude Steele (2010). In the Spring, we hope to enact some of the strategies Steele (2010) discusses in his book, and follow up with Learning Community participants. Books will be provided to all participants.
