What can Lindenwood University do for me?
Lindenwood University is a "Yellow Ribbon School" and proud to be a Military Friendly School. We're in the "top 15% of schools nationwide that deliver the best experience for military students" by doing the following:
- Lindenwood goes the extra mile to help military members navigate enrollment and graduation processes.
- You will have an academic advisor who will answer questions and help ensure you move confidently forward in your studies.
- Faculty member are incredibly dedicated and teach in classrooms that usually have no more than 35 students in the classroom, often more like a 12 student to 1 professor ratio.
- Military students will have access to our Veteran Affairs Office which is located in our Library and Academic Resources Center (LARC) on the lower level.
Are there special tuition rates for military and dependent students?
Lindenwood University is proud to offer special tuition rates for military students. These include an active-duty military personnel rate of $250 per credit which will be accomplished through a scholarship or grant. Lindenwood also offers a 20% non-stackable military dependent’s discount rate for traditional undergraduate students and a 20% discount per credit hour for non-traditional undergraduate and graduate students who are non-active military, veterans, and retired military members. How will a Lindenwood degree fit with my busy schedule?
Many of degree programs are offered in multiple formats to fit the students schedule. We offer traditional courses on ground, evening on ground courses, and online courses to fit the needs of our military students and families. Make sure to look up your specific degree interest to view the modalities that program can be completed.
Can I take classes during the day on campus?
Absolutely! If you are looking for a traditional campus experience, come visit our historic campus in Saint Charles, Missouri. You can elect to commute or to live on campus. Approximately 4,000 residential students attend day courses.

What options do I have for on-ground evening and graduate programs?
There are lots of options! Some graduate programs conduct day classes. Most are offered in the evening through our blended programs. We also offer completely online graduate programs as well.

Am I eligible to receive military benefits?
To check if you are eligible to receive benefits, please visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. At the bottom of the main page you will click on either service member benefits or family member benefits.
How do I access my Certificate of Eligibility (COE)?
To access your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), please sign in to your account. Once you log in to your account, you can make this request. You will only be able to view the benefit if you were awarded educational benefits.
When do I get a refund?
Please refer to the Bursar's Office regarding your refund if eligible upon other aid received.
