Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education

The baccalaureate degree in nursing at Lindenwood University is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC 20001, 202-887-6791. Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.

Missouri Board of Nursing

The prelicensure program has received initial approval by the Missouri State Board of Nursing which ensures that graduates of the pre-licensure track of the bachelor's program are eligible to apply to take the registered nurse licensure examination (NCLEX-RN). Completion of the nursing program does not guarantee eligibility to take the licensure examination, per section 335.066 RSMo of the Missouri Nursing Practice Act.


Paramedicine

Lindenwood University is approved by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services as an authorized training entity for Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic initial education and continuing education.

Paramedic Program Outcomes

CAAHEP Accredited Paramedic Programs and CoAEMSP Letter of Review (LoR) Programs track and report outcome measures annually to the Committee on Accreditation for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).

The most current CoAEMSP Annual Report was for the calendar year 2023.

The most recent success rate for the National Registry of EMT Paramedic/State Cognitive exam was 100%.

The most recent positive placement rate for graduates was 100%. Positive placement is defined by the CoAEMSP as 'Employed full or part-time in a related field and/or continuing his/her education and/or serving in the military'. Positive placement is measured at completion of the program.

The most recent retention rate was 100%.
