With your admission to Lindenwood, you should have received a welcome letter detailing many of your next steps. If you did not receive it, contact your Admissions Counselor. You can also find several details on our website.
Next steps for traditional students.
Next steps for online students.
Lindenwood Login
Within a week of your acceptance to the university, you will receive a Lindenwood username and temporary password. This login will be vital for every interaction as a Lindenwood student. If you lose your password or need help updating it, you can find information from our IT Help Desk here.
Mane Event
Mane Event is an exciting experience Lindenwood offers incoming freshman and and transfer students. At Mane Event, you can speak with an advisor, get to know some of the student organizations on campus, and attend vital workshops about topics like finances and residential life. Your Admissions Counselor can share more about Mane Event.
Getting Enrolled
Shortly after your acceptance, you will receive information about next steps for enrollment. Depending on what type of student you are, you may need to pay an enrollment deposit or complete a short survey. Two important things to know:
1) Once you have completed your steps, there may be a delay before you receive your schedule. This is normal. Registration for new students does not begin until after continuing students have a chance to enroll, and it may take a week or two to receive your schedule after you complete everything and registration opens. Our advising teams take time to know you to ensure you receive a schedule that fits into your life.
2) If you are a traditional student, you will not receive your schedule until the Mane Event new student day (or after if you cannot attend).
Final Transcript
If you have not done so already, remember to send your final transcript to the university.
At the completion of your final high school semester, you must request to have your final transcripts submitted to Lindenwood University to complete your file in Admissions. Students must have all final transcripts submitted in order to check in. If you are a transfer student, you must submit final grades in order to receive credit for courses in progress.
Post-Admit Student Finances
Now that you have been admitted to the university, you surely have several questions about how much your Lindenwood education will cost and how you will afford it. We have several links and resources to support you.
Filing a FAFSA
The first step to receiving a financial aid package is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Our Student Financial Services webpage offers details about the FAFSA and support resources for completing it.
Applying for Aid
If applicable, students may receive a university grant as part of their application process. There are several other forms of aid for which students can apply both at and beyond the university. The Student Financial Services webpage offers several resources to both students and their families.
Endowed Scholarships
One type of additional aid for which students can apply are endowed scholarships. These are all financial opportunities university donors have created and financed to support Lindenwood students. These opportunities and more can be found via the university's Scholarship Universe system.
Master Promissory Note
A common step students receiving loans can miss is completion of their financial Entrance Counseling and signing their Master Promissory note. Both steps must be finalized before a student can receive their financial aid. Students should receive information on completing these steps by email, and they can contact their Student Financial Services Advisor for support.
Billing Notice
Once students are enrolled and their financial aid has posted, they will receive their final bill from the university. For undergraduate students, payment is due July 15 for Fall classes and December 15 for Spring classes. Students can contact the Bursar's Office with any payment related questions.
