Instructions for Graduating Students

Here's what you need to do and where you need to be in order to receive your degree.

Friday, May 10, 2019 at 7 p.m.

Graduate Students

  • Commencement will be held Friday, May 10, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.
  • Students should arrive by 6 p.m. at Gate 4 to check-in; the gate will open at 5:30 p.m.
  • We will confer all doctorate, specialist, and master’s degrees.
  • Students will receive a card at the check-in table. The card includes the student name and line-up information. Please keep this card with you during the ceremony and make sure you have it when you walk toward the stage. You will present the card to the reader on stage.
  • Students will line up and march into the arena with their academic schools.
  • Guests will not need tickets for the ceremony. Guest seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The guest gates (1, 2, or 3) will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at the Family Arena located in St. Charles. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for the events to allow time for traffic, parking, and metal detectors at the entry gates, and to assure easy access to seats and services.
  • Restroom areas of the St. Charles Family Arena will be available as dressing areas. Lindenwood staff members will be present to provide assistance. No security will be available to protect personal belongings. Please do not expect to leave clothing or valuables in the dressing areas during the ceremony.

Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10 a.m.

Undergraduate students from the following schools: School of Arts, Media, and Communications; School of Education; School of Health Sciences; School of Humanities; and the School of Sciences.

  • Commencement will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.
  • Students should arrive by 9 a.m. at Gate 4 to check-in; the gate will open at 8:30 a.m.
  • We will confer all undergraduate degrees for the following schools: School of Arts, Media, and Communications; School of Education; School of Health Sciences; School of Humanities; and the School of Sciences.
  • Students will receive a card at the check-in table. The card includes the student name and line-up information. Please keep this card with you during the ceremony and make sure that you have it when you walk toward the stage. You will present the card to the reader on stage.

Undergraduate students from the following schools: School of Accelerated Degree Programs and Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

  • Commencement will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 3 p.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.
  • Students should arrive by 2 p.m. at Gate 4 to check-in; the gate will open at 1:30 p.m.
  • We will confer all undergraduate degrees for the following schools: School of Accelerated Degree Programs and Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
