Here's what you need to do and where you need to be in order to receive your degree.

Instructions for Graduating Students

Friday, December 10, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Graduate Students from all schools.

  • Commencement will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.
  • We will confer all doctorate, specialist, and master’s degrees.
  • Students should arrive by 6 p.m. at Gate 4 for the check-in process. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Students will receive a card at the check-in table. The card includes the student name and line-up information. Please keep this card with you during the ceremony and make sure that you have it when you walk toward the stage. You will present the card to the reader on stage.
  • Students will line up and march into the arena with their academic colleges.
  • We will live-stream the ceremony on our website.
  • Currently, tickets will not be required for guests, but this could change depending upon local, regional, national guidelines. Guest seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The guest gates (1, 2, or 3) will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 10 at the Family Arena located in St. Charles. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for the events to allow time for traffic, parking, and metal detectors at the entry gates, and to assure easy access to seats and services.
  • Restroom areas of the St. Charles Family Arena will be available as dressing areas, but we encourage you to enter the arena dressed in your regalia. No security will be available to protect personal belongings. Please do not expect to leave clothing or valuables in the dressing areas during the ceremony.

Undergraduate students from all colleges.
