STLREE Poster Competition

The STLREE (St. Louis Regional Entrepreneurial Educators) Poster Competition is designed to encourage and demonstrate collaboration across the St. Louis regional higher ed entrepreneurship programs. The goal is to increase student engagement and awareness of entrepreneurial opportunities. 

Event Details

  • Competition occurs on April 8, 2024.
  • All participating teams will set up between 4:30pm and 5pm.
  • Attendees (students, community members, faculty, etc.) will select the top 3 posters.
    • Attendees will be given 3 tokens at check-in.
  • Prizes
    • Awards are based on voting with tokens
      • 1st = $1,500
      • 2nd = $1,000
      • 3rd = $500
      • Audience Choice = $250

Poster Guidelines

  • Printed posters will be 36” x 48”
  • Posters should be created in PowerPoint and submitted one week prior to the competition by
    April 1, 2024.
  • Posters will be printed and available for participating teams on the day of competition.
  • Poster design should be clear and concise to include:
    • Problem & solution
    • Value proposition
    • Competitive advantages
  • Use images that will not pixelate when enlarged.
  • At least one team member must be present throughout the entire poster session (5pm - 7pm) to
    explain the poster contents and answer any questions.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled undergraduates of Lindenwood University.
  • Company has less than $50k in revenue.
  • Company has less than $50k of invested capital.
  • Incorporated less than three years from competition date.
  • Teams need not be incorporated.
  • Non-profit and for-profit businesses eligible.
  • Students must have majority interest in company or business concept and cannot represent another company in which they are not founders.
