Master of Public Administration (MPA)
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree is a professional graduate program. The MPA prepares individuals to serve at the local, state, and federal government levels. The MPA is designed to educate students in the applications of inter-disciplinary skills needed in government operations. The program bridges courses in both the School of Human Services and the School of Business and Entrepreneurship Studies.
Public Administration is a blending of business administration, human services, and core topics covered in required Public Administration courses. Working in the public sector often requires skills that cannot be confined to a single discipline: the public sector and the private sector cross paths and public officials need varied skills to function effectively. This is a 36 credit hour program. Core Curriculum (21 credit hours)
