The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) requires postsecondary institutions participating in Title IV federal student aid programs to make disclosures to students, also considered student consumer information. Professional Licensure and Certification
To comply with applicable federal requirements, Lindenwood University has completed an initial review of its programs against professional licensure educational requirements in relevant U.S. states and territories and has issued related determinations. Because professional licensure and certification requirements differ by jurisdiction and may change over time, students enrolled in programs intended to lead to licensure or certification – such as behavior analysis, counseling, education, and similar fields – should contact the appropriate licensing or certifying authority in the state where they intend to reside or practice before beginning the program. This step helps students confirm that the program’s educational preparation aligns with that jurisdiction’s current requirements.
