If you are interested in working at the Writing Center, we’d love to hear from you! However, there are some requirements in order to apply as a student worker. Our Consultants must have completed English 170 (Research and Argumentation) with a B or higher, be able to show proficient editing skills with regards to grammar and syntax, hold an understanding of the differences in academic writing styles (MLA, APA, etc.), and be able to discuss the changes they make with their clients clearly and concisely. Apply in Workday as a Tutor and note in your application that you’re applying for the Writing Center.

If you are interested in part- or full-time staff positions with the Writing Center, please refer to Workday as well for any openings we may have.

Any questions can be directed to Susan Edele (sedele@lindenwood.edu).
