Biography

Dr. Terry Wolfe is a retired Missouri school superintendent who also served as a building principal at all levels. He joined Lindenwood as an adjunct instructor in 2001 and became the Central Missouri site coordinator in 2005. He was named the Outstanding Emeritus Educator for the South Central District in 2009. He was a legislative lobbyist for the South Central District for 3 years. Dr. Wolfe was recognized for educational leadership from the Southwest Missouri Association of School Administrators in 2006. He was also recognized for leadership, service, and commitment to the fields of education and school finance from the Missouri Association of School Business Officials in 2006. Before returning to public school administration, he was Director of Career Planning and Placement for 12 years at the University of Central Missouri (formerly CMSU). As superintendent at Richland R-IV, the District was awarded "Distinction in Performance" from DESE for 6 of the 8 years he was there. Richland won 7 Class 2 State Academic Championships in his tenure at Richland and passed the first tax levy increase in 25 years made necessary by cuts in state funding. He also served as the Frisco League Conference President. Lindenwood recently began an EdD program at Waynesville and Dr. Wolfe coordinates the program. The Master's and Education Specialist programs are also offered at Waynesville. Dr. Wolfe is married to wife, Linda, who is a retired General Manager from the Furniture and Appliance field. They reside in Lake Ozark, MO.
