Poster Conference Workshop: The Ins and Outs of Creating and Presenting Your Poster and Yourself

LARC 124

Presenting your work in the form of a poster has been a standard format at conferences and is now becoming more common with colleges and universities offering their own conferences to students. Presenting your work as a poster is a valuable exercise in thinking about the essence of your research and the best way to communicate this. This session will offer advice on designing your poster to maximize the impact on the audience and how to succeed in getting your message across. It will include basic advice on using PowerPoint to design your poster. This workshop will be held in LARC 124 on Thursday, October 31st at 12:30. Questions? Contact Megan Phifer-Davis:
