Yesterday, University Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mark Arant, announced the appointment of Molly Hudgins, JD, as dean of Lindenwood’s Robert W. Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship (PSB&E).

Hudgins has been a member of the Lindenwood community for many years and served in a variety of capacities. In addition to her commitment to academic excellence, she is also a Q2 Champion at Lindenwood, dedicated to service excellence and a culture of support. She has been an integral player in creating this campus-wide culture and is an exemplary member of Lindenwood.

“Molly has been a valued member of the Lindenwood family and has served the University in various capacities on high-impact initiatives,” said Dr. Arant. “Added to that experience, she has the vision, collegiality, and charisma to effectively lead the Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship into its new future.  We are excited for her and for what she will do as the new dean of PSB&E.”

“I am extremely honored to become the next Dean of the Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship (PSB&E).  Lindenwood University has given me the opportunity to grow professionally and as a leader.  I am excited to lead the PSB&E into the next decade,” said Hudgins. “The PSB&E has a strong foundation of success, but more importantly, the school and the university are poised to achieve new milestones for academic reputation and student experience. Through increased corporate and community partnerships, students will be exposed to an entrepreneurial mindset that will prepare them for a multitude of career opportunities and that will mold Lindenwood students into future leaders.”

Lindenwood’s PSB&E programs are guided by outstanding faculty members who bring real experience into the classrooms and encourage meaningful connection between faculty and students. Hudgins’ commitment to excellence in the business world is supported by initiatives to engage students in internships and mentorship opportunities within their field.
