Lindenwood University’s Young Hall Auditorium will be the site of a debate at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, between the candidates for mayor of St. Charles in the upcoming municipal election on April 5.

Dan Cathy, president and CEO of Chick-fil-A, will continue the Lindenwood University Speaker Series with a speech at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 18, in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room of the university’s Spellmann Center.

The Lindenwood University Theatre Department will present the hilarious and thought-provoking musical Urinetown at 7:30 p.m. on March 3-5 and 10-12 in the university’s Bezemes Family Theater.

Lindenwood University is launching a new student ambassador program. The program was created by student-athletes RaShad May (junior) and Todd Starks (sophomore), along with their professor, Katie Davis, in conjunction with the Lindenwood University-Belleville Admissions Office. Student tours will begin immediately on a part-time basis with a full-time ambassador staff providing tours by this fall.

Lindenwood University will host its third annual Sibley Day on Wednesday, Feb. 23, in honor of University founders George and Mary Sibley. Students will be excused from classes in order to attend their choice of more 40 presentations and events scheduled throughout the day.

Dr. Mira Ezvan, professor of management information systems at Lindenwood University, will continue the university’s 2010-2011 Center for International and Global Studies Speaker Series at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011, on the main Lindenwood campus. Admission is free.
