Lindenwood University has launched two new degree programs, one for students interested in the rapidly growing field of information technology and the other for students interested in agriculture.

Lindenwood University will hold its annual fall blood drive on Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Butler Hall.

The Lindenwood University Theatre program will present "The Good Doctor" October 5-7 and Oct. 12-14. This production will be the first of the 2000-2001 season. The play is written by Pulitzer Prize winner Neil Simon and is based upon short stories by Russian author Anton Chekhov. It is a moving comedy that presents various vignettes.

Lindenwood University is now offering two graduate education courses to teachers in the St. Louis Public School District. The program allows teachers to get a master of arts degree with certification in special education simultaneously while attending classes in their own school buildings.

Lindenwood University has released its late start course schedule for the Fall Semester. The schedule includes courses in five different areas of study.

Dr. George Hickenlooper, a professor of literature at Lindenwood University and an award-winning playwright, opened his 21st play, "All for His Own Good," this summer at Buckham Alley Theatre in Flint, Mich.
