The William T. Kemper Foundation, Commerce Bank trustee, has donated $100,000 toward Lindenwood University's current capital campaign. Specifically, the gift is to be used for Lindenwood's new campus center, construction of which is to start this spring.

When Les Prinster of St. Charles was born, Lindenwood was a venerable 83-year-old college--seven years younger than Prinster is now. Like a lot of senior citizens, Prinster has decided that the time is right to return to school. This spring, he is taking a Survey of Economics course at Lindenwood.

The Lindenwood University jazz concert featuring trumpet recording artist Randy Brecker will be held at the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, not at the Lindenwood Performance Arena as had been originally indicated.

St. Charles County's premiere jazz event of 2000 will be at Lindenwood University when Grammy Award-winner Randy Brecker performs with the Lindenwood Jazz Band and Combo in a special concert at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the Hyland Performance Arena.

Lindenwood's men's track team won the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship Saturday, May 6 with 190.5 points. The women's team finished second with 188 points.

The Lindenwood University Lion Line Dance Squad is ranked eighth nationally in the Open Division of the Universal Dance Association.
