Lindenwood University will host its annual Family Day on Saturday, September 17. An opportunity for all supporters and families to visit their students, Family Day offers a complete schedule of programming that includes the first home football game of the season and ends with a fireworks show that is sure to delight.

Campus Updates and Improvements for Fall 2022
Over the summer, Lindenwood has been working to complete four major updates and improvements to certain areas of campus. These improvements will not only enhance the University but also the overall student experience by providing more options and opportunities on campus.

Lindenwood Announces NCAA Division I Reclassification Bid
Today, Lindenwood University President Dr. Porter announced that the University will move forward with the formal process to reclassify from Division II to Division I athletics.

Lindenwood Conducts Esports Study

NCAA Awards Diversity Grant to Lindenwood University
Lindenwood University has been awarded a grant from the NCAA that supports diversity, equity and inclusion in both its athletics administration and graduate academic programming. Led by the Lindenwood Athletics Department and Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship, the grant will support the addition of an NCAA Experiential Internship for Diverse Populations at Lindenwood.
Junior Wrestler Abner Romero Wins National Title
After transferring to Lindenwood in January 2020, Abner Romero, a junior Physical Education major, was quickly met with success as a wrestler at the university, becoming a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II National Champion in his first year here.

Romero wins NCAA Wrestling National Title
Lindenwood University junior Abner Romero won the 2021 NCAA Division II National Championship title for wrestling at 174 pounds. In addition, Romero along with five teammates achieved All-American status as the team finished third.

Athletic Training Achieves 100% Pass Rate for Certification
Lindenwood University athletic training students achieved a 100% pass rate for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)’s Board of Certifications examination in the 2020 testing cycle.
