
Sara Evans Kicks off 2025 Scheidegger Touring Series
Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will take the stage at the Lindenwood Theater in the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. One of country radio’s most-played female artists of the last two decades, Evans will bring her timeless, high-energy storytelling to the opening night of the 2025-26 Scheidegger Touring Series.

Lindenwood Hosts Missouri Girls State and Boys State of Missouri
Lindenwood will host the American Legion Auxiliary Missouri Girls State and American Legion Boys State of Missouri for the fourth year in a row. For eight days, the University will welcome 1,900 high school students from across the state. The students will learn from guest speakers and hands-on activities, aligning with Lindenwood’s mission of Real Experience. Real Success.

2025 Staff Awards Winners Recognized for Dedication and Commitment
Lindenwood University’s annual awards ceremony is held to honor the staff and faculty who make a difference in the lives of those in the Lindenwood community. The University has 452 staff members with a combined 2,100 years of experience. The ceremony celebrates the value of every university employee while highlighting those who stood out over the past year.

Out of the Darkness Walk Shines a Light on Mental Health
Lindenwood University partnered with the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention to host the Out of the Darkness Walk, March 2. A part of the Engage in Eight, a student involvement program designed to help students transition to life on campus, the walk serves to bring students together and promote mental health awareness.

The Irish Tenors to Perform at J. Scheidegger Center
J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts welcomes The Irish Tenors just in time for St. Patrick's Day. The Irish Tenors, who have taken the stage at some of the world's most iconic venues, are making their Lindenwood Theater debut. Formed in 1998, the trio of Anthony Kearns, Ronan Tynan, and Declan Kelly have been crowned the Celtic music kings.

41st Year of Winterfest Brings New Attractions: Sunday, December 1
With the sun setting by 5 p.m., the sight of 3,000 lights on a winter evening can be shocking. For the Lindenwood University community, this means Winterfest is here. Lindenwood’s annual holiday tradition, Winterfest, dates back to 1983 making it a mainstay for the community.
