To kick off the 2024-25 touring series, the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts is pleased to welcome back Big Bad Voodoo Daddy for a show Wednesday, October 2 at 8 p.m. The band celebrated 31 years together in April and returns to the Lindenwood campus for a third consecutive year.

For a third consecutive summer, Lindenwood University will host the American Legion Auxiliary Missouri Girls State and American Legion Boys State of Missouri. These youth leadership programs recognize talented high school students from across the state and provide hands-on learning opportunities.

Lindenwood University’s Student Academic Showcase, one of the final events of the 2023-24 academic year, was held in the Library & Academic Resources Center in April. During the event, students from all academic colleges put their creative flair and research on display – from original research to discussing exploratory projects – for their peers, faculty, and staff.

For the 15th consecutive year, Lindenwood University hosted the 2024 Science Olympiad Competitions for middle and high school student teams in February, offering students hands-on opportunities to immerse themselves in the world of science.

Lindenwood University will host its Spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies Thursday, May 2, through Saturday, May 4, at Hyland Performance Arena.

On March 19, Lindenwood University’s Staff Council and Faculty Council co-hosted the 2024 Faculty and Staff Awards Recognition Ceremony in J. Scheidegger Theater.

During an awards ceremony in J. Scheidegger Theater on March 19, a group of Lindenwood faculty members were recognized for their contributions and dedication to their students and the University.

Bruce Hornsby and yMusic are set to perform at the J. Scheidegger Center on the campus of Lindenwood University on Friday, March 15, at 8 p.m.

Lindenwood University’s community outreach endeavor, LindenGiving, received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County for its part in a back-to-school event. The award was presented during the 59th Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County’s Gala at the Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa on Saturday, February 10.

Lindenwood University’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion announced the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Awards during a ceremony February 6 in the A-B Leadership Room in Spellmann Center.
