Lindenwood University will hold its annual Commencement exercises Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, at the Family Arena in St. Charles. Noted St. Louis entrepreneur Mike Roberts will be the keynote speaker at the Saturday Commencement ceremony, while longtime sports broadcaster Bob Ramsey will deliver the Baccalaureate address on Friday evening.

The Lindenwood University School of Communications will host its third annual Film and Television Camp this summer for high school students interested in learning production skills. Sessions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, June 13-17 and June 20-24.

An event slated for the evening of Wednesday, May 4, at Lindenwood University featuring author and Navy SEAL Eric Greitens has been cancelled due to a deluge of new demands on Greitens' time in the wake of the Sunday's military action that resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. The event has not been rescheduled at this time.

Tara Brandley, graduate assistant in student services at Lindenwood University-Belleville, has been selected to be the campus’ first director of student housing, effective May 1.

Lindenwood University will present its Break Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, in the Hyland Arena on the main St. Charles campus. Performers will include The Ready Set, Hot Chelle Rae, and Eleventy Seven.

Lindenwood University’s inaugural Spring Into Service day on April 16, has been called by organizers a huge success, netting 291 service hours donated to nine area nonprofit, charitable, or government organizations by 83 volunteers from the Lindenwood community.

It was a very special day on the campus of Lindenwood University on Monday afternoon when the University unveiled and dedicated a sculpture of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Lou Brock.

Lindenwood University-Belleville has received approval from the Illinois Board of Higher Education to add a bachelor of arts degree in psychology to its growing list of undergraduate degree programs.

Lindenwood University-Belleville and Goldfarb School of Nursing will host an information session on the university’s pre-nursing program from 6-7 p.m. on April 20 at the Lindenwood Belleville campus.

Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts will welcome back famed singer Debby Boone to the stage of The Bezemes Family Theater for a live musical concert at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.
