For the second consecutive week, a Lindenwood Belleville basketball player has been honored for her work on the court by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. This week, Megan Clark of the Lady Lynx was selected as Player of the Week.
Evelyn Hendrix, PsyD, S.P.H.R., of the Lindenwood University School of Business and Entrepreneurship, will disclose this week the results of an extensive recent study on the employment climate of St. Charles County. She will deliver a public presentation at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the Spellmann Center on the main Lindenwood campus in St. Charles, Mo., following an initial unveiling of her findings to the First Capitol Lions Club on Thursday, Dec. 2.
Lindenwood University has received a $25,000 grant from Maritz to continue a glade restoration project at its Boone Home Campus in rural St. Charles County. The grant will continue and expand the existing project, which over that past two years has reestablished an important habitat for a variety of species, some of which are rare or endangered.

The Lindenwood University Athletic Department was honored Tuesday with a Special Achievement Award at the second annual St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Enshrinement dinner at the Millenium Hotel downtown. The athletic department was recognized for winning six national championships during the 2009-10 school year.
Lindenwood University-Belleville has announced that its new student center on campus will be named after former United States Senator Alan J. Dixon.
