Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As of Monday, March 23, all Lindenwood University faculty and staff will be working from home and all on-campus offices will be closed to the public and university employees. Lindenwood personnel and offices will be available for business by telephone and email to provide continuity in university operations and student support services. General, School of Accelerated Degree Programs

Beginning the week of April 1, Lindenwood University will begin offering adult evening classes at the Academy of Higher Education in Moscow Mills.

Lindenwood University, which is negotiating with Belleville District 201 and the city of Belleville to acquire the historic Belleville West campus, is offering a variety of classes at Belleville West beginning the week of April 1.

General, School of Accelerated Degree Programs

A new Master's Degree in Writing has been approved at Lindenwood University and will be administered through Lindenwood's LCIE adult accelerated program. This program, piloted by Professor Michael Castro, offers instruction in writing in a small group setting. A wide range of coursework is offered, including fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and screenwriting.

There's a new brand of television programming in town. Lindenwood University has begun broadcasting on Charter Communications' cable channel 26. The station is called LUHE-TV (Lindenwood University Higher Education Television) and reaches more than 48,000 households in St. Charles County.

Quite by accident, Jeffrey Smith stumbled across a historical gem – the personal diaries of Major George Sibley, who helped his wife, Mary, found Lindenwood University 175 years ago.

Lindenwood University will freeze tuition for 2003-2004 and reduce students’ room and board by $200. President Dennis Spellmann made the announcement Wednesday after a meeting of the university’s executive board.

Lindenwood University and St. Louis Community College have signed a joint agreement that assists SLCC accounting majors who want to transfer to Lindenwood to get their bachelor’s degree.
