Lindenwood University is offering a week-long workshop this summer to help teachers develop lessons on the Civil War using sites, people, stories and documents from surrounding region.


Lindenwood University will hold its annual Career Day job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, in the Connection Center, located in the Spellmann Campus Center on the main campus at 209 S. Kingshighway in St. Charles.


“The winter of our discontent” will set in on the Lindenwood University stage this spring as Shakespeare’s immortal “Richard III” closes out the 2006-07 Lindenwood Mainstage Season.


The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis will present its 2007 traveling production at Lindenwood University’s Cultural Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. The Cultural Center is located at 400 N. Kingshighway in St. Charles, two blocks north of the main Lindenwood campus.

General, Athletics

The Lindenwood athletics department has become one of the most successful collegiate programs in the country. As a way to honor the top individuals and teams that have helped build the program to this level, Lindenwood has announced that it is establishing an Athletics Hall of Fame.


The Fashion Design students of Lindenwood University will present their 10th Annual Fashion Show, “Carnaval de la Mode,” at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Westfield West County in the North Court.


Michael R. Hogan, chief administrative officer and CFO of the Sigma-Aldrich Corporation in St. Louis, will speak at Lindenwood University at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, as part of the school’s Distinguished Executive Lecture Series.


The Lindenwood University Department of Theatre will continue its 2006-2007 Mainstage Season with the Stephen Sondheim’s groundbreaking musical “Company.”
