The Lady Lions won their first-round match Wednesday in the NAIA softball national championships with a 3-0 victory over Georgian Court College of New Jersey.
Gene S. Kahn, president and chief executive officer of The May Department Stores Company, will be the guest speaker for the 173rd commencement ceremony at Lindenwood University on Saturday, May 20. Undergraduate and graduate degrees will be conferred upon nearly 1,700 graduates, making this the largest commencement ceremony in Lindenwood history.
The Lady Lions softball team won the 2000 NAIA Region V Softball Tournament Saturday, May 6 by defeating No. 1-seed Columbia College in a 4-3 thriller.
Lindenwood University softball coach Rob Westling earned his 500th career victory Tuesday, May 2 in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Meramec Community College. The Lady Lions swept the twinbill, winning the first game 4-0 and giving their coach "No. 500" in the second game with a 2-0 win.
