
Board of Trustees Votes to Consolidate St. Charles, Belleville Undergrad Academic Programs
After much deliberation and discussion around potential enrollment strategies for the Lindenwood University Belleville, Ill., campus, the university’s Board of Trustees has voted to consolidate the daytime undergraduate academic programs from its Belleville campus to the St. Charles, Mo., campus following the 2019-2020 academic year.
New Forensic Experiential Learning Facility Planned
Lindenwood University is announcing the development of a new Forensic Experiential Learning Facility (FELF) that will allow students hands-on training in crime and accident scene investigation, forensic science, forensic anthropology, and digital forensics.
Commencement Ceremonies Move to Auditorium Due to Rain Forecast
Lindenwood University-Belleville’s 2019 Commencement Ceremonies, previously scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in Lindenwood Stadium, will be instead held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the Lindenwood Auditorium on the university’s Belleville campus at 2600 W. Main St.
Lindenwood University-Belleville to Host Youth Reading Camp
The Division of Education and Counseling at Lindenwood University-Belleville again will host Camp Lynx Tales Monday through Friday, June 3-21, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Mother and Daughter Grads Spotlighted in St. Louis American
Michele and Maya Rodriguez, who are mother and daughter, were featured in an article in the St. Louis American for graduating together with their master’s degrees in Lindenwood’s spring Commencement. The two also graduated together with bachelor’s degrees in 2017.

Commencement Ceremonies Set for May 10 and 11 at Family Arena
Lindenwood University in St. Charles will hold its spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11, at the St. Charles Family Arena. A ceremony for graduate students will be at 7 p.m. on May 10, and undergraduate ceremonies will be at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

FIRST Robotics State Championship Set for Hyland Arena
Lindenwood University will host the FIRST Robotics State Championship on May 18 at the Hyland Arena on the university’s St. Charles campus, the latest event in Lindenwood’s partnership with FIRST Robotics.

Dr. Bethany Alden-Rivers Named Associate VP for Institutional Effectiveness
Beginning July 1, 2019, Dr. Bethany Alden-Rivers will assume the role of associate vice president for institutional effectiveness at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. She will replace Dr. David Wilson, who is retiring at the end of June after five years in the role.
