Annual Endowed Scholarship Luncheon Draws Large Crowd

Annual Endowed Scholarship Luncheon Draws Large Crowd

Lindenwood University endowed scholarship donors and recipients gathered in the lobby of the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts on March 7 to celebrate scholarship and philanthropy.

A total of 170 recipients, donors, and staff attended the event. Recipients had the opportunity to personally thank the individuals who are helping them earn their degrees at Lindenwood.

Donor speaker Art Goodall and student speaker Baylie Clynes shared personal stories about how Lindenwood scholarships have impacted them. Lindenwood currently has 135 endowed scholarships totaling $478,853. Endowed scholarships are established by individual donors, who have the opportunity of naming them. A donation of $25,000 is required to establish a scholarship.
