Lindenwood Captures Three Awards at NBS Convention

The National Broadcasting Society (NBS) of Lindenwood University brought home three individual awards from the Regional Convention in Minneapolis, Minn. earlier this fall.

Chad Cates, senior, won an award for experimental audio and Kyle Kimberlin won two awards. Kimberlin’s awards came from both audio and video categories.

A group of 15 NBS members left Lindenwood University, Thursday, October 25 and arrived in Minneapolis the following day. While attending the convention members had a chance to hear and meet speakers in the field of broadcasting and tour various facilities in the area.

Both Cates and Kimberlin now advance to national competition. Winners will be announced at the NBS National Convention to be held in the spring.
