Lindenwood University is offering 35 courses as part of its Jump Start program, which allows transfer students and those registering late a chance to get a semester of coursework under their belts without having to wait until January.
Modeled after Lindenwood’s successful “J-Term” or January term, the classes begin meeting Sept. 27. The classes meet fewer weeks than the traditional semester courses, but they meet for a longer period of time each week, said Provost Jim Evans.
The classes range from arts to communications to humanities, management and sciences, as well as physical education.
Evans said he considers this a perfect opportunity for students who still want to attend college but did not want to wait until the beginning of the spring semester.
