New MFA in Writing to Be Offered

A new Master's Degree in Writing has been approved at Lindenwood University and will be administered through Lindenwood's LCIE adult accelerated program. This program, piloted by Professor Michael Castro, offers instruction in writing in a small group setting. A wide range of coursework is offered, including fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and screenwriting.

Students pursue a 48-hour program. A student chooses 36 hours from four of the following classes: creative writing, journalistic writing, text analysis and editing, aesthetic and literary studies, or visual communications studies.
