The Lindenwood University Department of Nonprofit Administration will hold a Nonprofit Bootcamp on Saturday, April 30, at the university’s Belleville, Ill., campus. Designed for nonprofit professionals interested in building their skills and knowledge base, the event is a follow-up to one held at Lindenwood’s St. Charles, Mo., campus in August.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the U.S. Senator Alan J. Dixon Student Center at Lindenwood Belleville. Participants will engage in workshops led by seasoned nonprofit professionals and hone their skills in fundraising, financial management, and performance planning. Participants will also network with other area professionals and dialogue with a panel of select nonprofit practitioners.
“As part of a commitment to the Greater St. Louis region, the Lindenwood University Department of Nonprofit Administration is looking for individuals interested in growing as nonprofit professionals and learning the skills to lead their nonprofit organizations to the next level,” said Patrick Walker, Lindenwood associate professor of nonprofit administration and host and moderator of the event.
Individual tickets are $49, $35 for August 2015 Lindenwood Nonprofit Bootcamp alumni, and $25 for students. A continental brunch, buffet-style lunch, coffee, and snacks are included.
