The Lindenwood University Theatre Department will bring Charles Schultz’s beloved characters to life with the classic musical, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 7-9 and 14-16 in the university’s Emerson Black Box Theater.

The box office and the Emerson Theater are located in Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, which is located at 2300 West Clay St., just west of First Capitol Drive in St. Charles.
The musical was written by Clark Guesser and John Gordon on Schultz’s story. It premiered on Broadway in 1971 at the height of the famous comic strip’s popularity. This exciting and fun musical for the entire family includes songs like “Suppertime,” “Baseball Game,” “Book Report,” “The Kite,” and the popular “Happiness.” So, come visit Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the gang and relive your childhood once again.
The cast includes Liam Hoeh, C. Brent Nowack, David Moreshead, Lauren Costigan, Shelby Davis, Katherine Welborn, Lauren Anselm, Sean Murry, Mark Saunders, and Devon A.A. Norris as Snoopy. The director is Larry Quiggins. The musical director is Pam Grooms, and the stage manager is Kyle Long. Set design and lighting design are by Tim Poertner. Costume design is by Wes Jenkins, and the property mistress is Abby Powers.
