Voices Only, Student Conductors to Entertain April 26-27

The public will have the opportunity to see concerts featuring Lindenwood’s premiere a capella vocal group "Voices Only," on April 26 as well as a showcase featuring some of Lindenwood’s talented student conductors.

"Voices Only" will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 26 and Tuesday, April 27 in the intimate Emerson Black Box Theater, which is located in the university’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts. Admission is free. The award-winning group will perform a selection of classical and contemporary works, showcasing the vocal precision for which it is known. Admission is free.

The annual Student Conductors’ Concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Scheidegger Center’s Bezemes Family Theater. Admission is free.

The concert features Lindenwood’s advanced music students of choral and instrumental ensembles. It is the culminating project for the university’s future music educators. From sacred to modern styles, and “Over the Rainbow” to “The Raiders March,” the musical tastes of every audience member will be satisfied.

The J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts is located on the Lindenwood campus at 2300 West Clay Street in St. Charles.
