Workshop on Missouri History, Westward Movement

Lindenwood University and the Missouri Department of Conservation are offering a workshop "Missouri History and Westward Movement" Jan. 28-30 at the historic Daniel Boone Home in Defiance.

Topics at the workshop will include Osage Indian Meal, Dutch oven cooking, muzzle loading rifles and bullet molding, living history, woods tools, dugout construction, archeological surveying, flint knapping and more.

Cost of the course is $60 for non-credit participants. The course will be $270 for 1 hour of credit or $540 for two hours of credit. For information, contact David Knotts at 636-949-4309 ( or Jim Duncan at 314-301-1500.
