Adobe Certification Presentation
Lindenwood University offers certification in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier Pro Adobe software. Each academic year, Michael Fetters and Erica Blum present on the current program, which includes current offerings, new additions and insight into the process of becoming certified.
Past Workshops
Illustrator 101: The Basics -- The workshop focuses on the basic tools and techniques to use Adobe Illustrator.
InDesign 101: The Basics -- The workshop focuses on the basic tools and techniques to use Adobe Indesign.
Photoshop 101: The Basics -- The workshop is a one-hour workshop that provides a basic level introduction to Photoshop, including file creation, common tool basics, and output options. The workshop aims to familiarize students who have never worked with Photoshop before. Staff and faculty are welcome to attend as well.
Photoshop 102: The Basics -- The workshop is a one-hour workshop that provides a basic level introduction to Photoshop. This workshop builds on the foundation established in Photoshop 101: The Basics, including additional common tool basics, workflow and output options. The workshop aims to familiarize students who have never worked with Photoshop before. Staff and faculty are welcome to attend as well.
Open RPG Night
The Lindenwood Library's Media and Gaming Lab will be hosting an Open RPG event. At the event, students and faculty will gather in the evening to partake in playing one of many pen and paper roleplaying games, consisting of groups of roughly 6 to 8 people per table session. Signups for this event will be announced at the beginning of the semester for the event.
The Open RPG Night typically takes place in October or March at the LARC Third Floor Atrium. Refreshments are often provided. A free participation prize is sometimes given away to each participant. Signup is required. See the Current Events listing for more information and to register for the event.
Board Game Day
In the spring, the Lindenwood Library's Media and Gaming Lab typically hosts a Board Game Night. The event consists of an evening of de-stressing from semester studies playing
The event is open to all Lindenwood students, staff, and faculty. Come any time during the event and join us for some fun! Food and drinks will be provided.
