National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements

Council for Higher Education AccreditationLindenwood University is a NC-SARA approved institution. The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education. SARA is overseen by a National Council and administered by four regional education compacts.

Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training EducationLindenwood University’s Athletic Training Program has been continuously accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education since 2003. The next regularly scheduled comprehensive review of the program will be in 2013.

Business (Accelerated)

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and ProgramsLindenwood University's accelerated cluster-based Business programs in the School of Accelerated Degree Programs are also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The business programs are headquartered in the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, two blocks north of the main Lindenwood University campus in St. Charles, Mo., and offer classes at extension centers throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area, from Belleville, Ill., to Wentzville, Mo. The business programs and Lindenwood’s Robert W. Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship combine to make the second largest MBA degree program in Missouri and Kansas.

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and ProgramsLindenwood University's course-based Business programs (including our daytime BA and evening MBA Plus programs) are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accreditation. ACBSP is a specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. “The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and believes that scholarly research and inquiry activities facilitate improved teaching.” This specialized accreditation is in addition to our current accreditation with Higher Learning Commission.
