Career Day Set for March 5 in Campus Center

The annual Career Day job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the Connection Center, located in the Spellmann Campus Center on the main campus at 209 S. Kingshighway in St. Charles.

The Connection Center will be filled with booths representing approximately 40 employers from the St. Louis region. Attendees will be able to talk with representatives from the companies, obtain information about job or internship opportunities and get job search advice from seasoned professionals. Job opportunities include full- and part-time and summer work, depending on the employer, and internships are available in the same categories.

Lindenwood has been holding its career fair for more than 10 years. Held annually in the spring, the fair has been very popular among students and employers alike.

“It’s an excellent opportunity to network with representatives from some of the top organizations in the area,” said Dana Wehrli, director of career services at Lindenwood.

The career fair is offered free of charge. Professional attire is required. Organizations represented at the fair this year will include the Boy Scouts of America, Brown Smith Wallace, Commerce Bank, Edward Jones, the Missouri Division of Youth Services, the St. Louis Science Center, True Manufacturing and many others.
