Cast Announced for 'A Christmas Carol'

The Lindenwood University Theatre program is pleased to announce the cast for this year’s annual production of "A Christmas Carol." Sophomore Anthony Wininger of Old Monroe, Mo. is portraying the lead role of Scrooge.

 Others in the cast include graduate student Sara Dinehart of Pacific, Mo.; seniors Holly Alexander of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Lindsey Calvert of Clancy, Mont.; juniors Jason B. Jones of St. Peters, Kile Risch of St. Peters, and Jonathan Turner of Fredericktown, Mo.; sophomores Simon Ahmed of Maplewood, Maureen Barton of St. Louis, Matt Klingler of Imperial, A. Scott Sampson of Jefferson City, and Brooke Soptic of Independence; freshmen Kenneth Foster of Defiance, Mark Neels of Fenton, and Tiffany A’Lena Rea of St. Charles.

The production is directed by Wes Morganthaler, a 1986 graduate of Lindenwood University. Graduate student Ricki Marking-Camuto of Wildwood, MO stage manages the production. Scenic and lighting design are by Associate Professor Donnell Walsh and costumes are by sophomore Jennifer Wells of St. Charles.

"A Christmas Carol" will be presented on Nov. 29, 30, Dec. 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Jelkyl Theatre in Roemer Hall on the main campus. For ticket information, please contact the Lindenwood Theatre Box Office at 636-949-4878, Monday through Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 5 p.m.
