The Lindenwood University Speaker Series, in cooperation with the university’s Gender Studies Program, will present Christopher Vu Gandin Le, CEO of Emotion Technologies, to lead a conversation about men and gender studies at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6, in the Spellmann Center’s Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room.
Gandin Le will delve into topics like masculinity, mental health, and fatherhood. Gandin Le’s company, Emotion Technology, is a social enterprise that works to provide online users access to life-saving suicide prevention tools. His help with the launch of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center and multiple other centers furthers his background in mental health and stability.
Gandin Le’s mentor, author Naomi Wolf, describes him as “a born activist, a natural grassroots leader and teacher.” A frequent speaker on suicide and suicide prevention, Gandin Le says the evening will be centered on getting men excited about feminism.
