The Plan to Reopen Campus

Roaring Return

Lindenwood University has implemented a phased return to campus and will begin the fall semester as scheduled on August 24. Lindenwood personnel and offices continue to be available for business by telephone and email. Please visit www.lindenwood.edu/roaring-return/ for continued updates and information about health and safety policies.

Governor Jay Nixon to Speak on Campus

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon will speak at a lunch meeting of the Bates-Krekel Society on the Lindenwood University campus on March 29. The meeting is open only to membership of the group. Nixon, who was elected in 2008, is the first speaker for the new group, which will meet twice a year, in the spring and the fall.

The Bates-Krekel Society was formed by St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann and Circuit Judge Ted House. The society is named for Arnold Krekel and Barton Bates, both St. Charles County political figures who put aside their party differences during the Civil War to preserve the Union.

The society hopes to encourage a rational and civil dialogue and debate on politically divisive issues while seeking to find common cause on other issues
