The Lindenwood University Jazz Band and Combo will present a Tribute Concert for the Kansas City King of Swing, William "Count" Basie at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov., 9 in the Cultural Center, 400 North Kingshighway.

The concert, "One for the Count" will be held on what would be Basie's 100th birthday. Several selections from the Count Basie Library will be performed including Magic Flea, Li'l Darlin, Jamie, Way Out Basie, and Robbin's Nest by Basie tenor saxophonist, Illinois Jacquet.
