Lindenwood University will offer a class in Historic Site Management this summer at its campus at the Historic Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield Village in Defiance, Mo.
The class will be taught by Dr. Teri Jones, curator of artifacts for the Boone Home. Jones was trained at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and has worked with collections at SIU, Syracuse University, the Coastal Museum Association of Georgia, and the Mary Miller Museum in Brunswick, Ga. She currently teaches at Lindenwood University and catalogs new accessions for Lindenwood University.
The site management class will include conservation methods, accessions, inventory, maintenance, and gift shop activities. For more information, prospective students can contact the Lindenwood Admission Office at 636-949-4949.
