Lindenwood University’s high-definition cable channel, LUTV, is now streaming online at www.lindenwood.edu and airing on AT&T U-verse channel 99. The station’s lineup of more than 30 programs had previously been available only on Charter Communications channel 989 and Florissant City Television channel 10; LUTV is still available at both locations.
“This is truly exciting because we can now reach a wider audience than ever before,” said Peter Carlos, LUTV station manager and associate professor of communications. “Airing on U-verse means we will reach viewers in the extended St. Louis area as well as those already watching us in St. Charles County.”
LUTV’s availability online further expands the station’s reach. Programming can be accessed 24 hours a day by visiting Lindenwood’s homepage at www.lindenwood.edu and clicking on the LUTV graphic located in the lower right-hand corner of the page.
“It’s especially a huge advantage for friends and family of international students attending Lindenwood,” Carlos said. “Whether their loved ones are in another country or another state, they’re just a mouse click away from the latest university news, entertainment, and sporting event coverage.”
