Summer Athletic Camps Announced

Lindenwood University-Belleville’s Athletic Department is happy to announce its summer camp lineup.

The Lindenwood University-Belleville women's basketball team will host an Elite Basketball Camp for girls entering grades 11-12 from June 19-21. During this camp, athletes will have time with coaches and players to develop advanced skills through drills and games. Overnight campers will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with a t-shirt, for $200 per athlete. Campers who choose not to stay overnight will receive a t-shirt and be served lunch for $100 per athlete. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. The women's basketball team also will host a Grade School Camp from June 26-29 for girls entering the grades 5-8. The player and coaches will interact with the athletes to teach them new skills as well as help them develop as players. The camp costs $125 per athlete and will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily  Lunch will be held from 12-1 p.m., and a t-shirt will be given to each athlete. The Lindenwood University-Belleville football team will host a one-day, free camp on July 15, presented by the U.S. Army. Registration for the camp, which takes place at Lindenwood Stadium, begins at 8 a.m. The camp includes tours of athletics facilities, along with a combine, individual drills, and one-on-ones. The Lady Lynx volleyball team will host a Hitting and Serving Camp July 24-26. Athletes age 12 and under will participate from 9 a.m. until noon, and athletes age 13 and over will participate from 1-4 p.m. Camp is designed to focus on specific aspects of the game with an emphasis on the fundaments of passing, serving, hitting, and more. The cost for this camp is $250 per athlete. On July 30, the volleyball team will host an All Skills Camp from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The cost for this camp is $75.
