Symposium May 3 to Address Funding Business Ventures

The Duree Center for Entrepreneurship at Lindenwood University will present a free symposium on How To Fund Your Business Venture. The symposium will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Dunseth Auditorium in Harmon Hall on the Lindenwood University campus, 209 South Kingshighway, St. Charles, Missouri 63301.

The Duree Center of EntrepreneurshipThis symposium will feature experts in the fields of Venture Capital, Angel Networks and Crowd Funding. The presenters include Jerome Katz the founding Director of the Billiken Angels Network, Dane Witbeck technology executive and CEO of Meshify Inc. Katie Lee from Katie’s Pizza and Pasta, Lisa Melandri the Director of the St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum and Trevor Rees the Information Resource Manager for Business Services and Public Management for the St. Charles City-County Library District. Also speaking will be Rick Duree a prominent area business consultant, mentor and entrepreneur.

The event will provide attendees to access some of the most powerful new ideas available to entrepreneurs wishing to initiate their business ventures. Many of the funding boundaries formerly placed before aspiring entrepreneurs have been erased.
