Students pursuing a degree in accounting will acquire both theoretical and practical accounting skills. The undergraduate accounting degree allows students the flexibility to choose an appropriate career path.  Students can enter private industry upon graduation or get an early start on their graduate degree.  Students can apply to the Master of Accountancy, through our early access program, during their senior year as an undergraduate student.  This combined 5-year program allows accounting students aspiring to become CPAs to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree while also satisfying the 150 college credit hour requirement of the Uniform CPA Exam.

Additionally, students are strongly encouraged to earn course credit while gaining practical experience through internships.  Lindenwood faculty, advisors, and career center staff activity provide opportunities for students to interact and meet with potential employers.  Student organizations further enhance these networking opportunities.  Finally, the Plaster School of Business provide students the chance to explore the world while also completing their coursework through shot-term study abroad trips.
