Earning a Marketing Degree at Lindenwood University

Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts Online, and Bachelor of Science in Marketing

A bachelor of arts and bachelor of arts online in marketing requires 75-77 credit hours and a bachelor of science in marketing requires 78-80 credit hours of business-related courses and electives, plus a general education core. The difference in a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of science is that the core of a BA is generally more diverse and a BS is more concentrated in the subject area. Topics of study include price strategy and negotiations, advertising and promotional strategy, selling, plus many more.

Earning a Marketing Minor or Certificate at Lindenwood University

You can earn a minor in marketing at Lindenwood University. A minor is simply a secondary academic subject to add to your knowledge, whether it is of professional or personal interest.

A minor in marketing requires 27 credit hours. You will study subjects like principles of financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics, management, and others.

A certificate in marketing is also available. The certificate requires 15 credit hours with topics such as principles of marketing, advertising and promotional strategy, and selling.

Earning a Marketing Emphasis in Business Administration at Lindenwood University

When you pursue a BA or BS in business administration, you may earn an emphasis in marketing by completing 12 of your 21-24 credit hours of elective coursework in marketing. You will take classes in international marketing, product management, consumer behavior, and more.
