Lindenwood is proud to be designated as a Military Friendly School.

We are VA approved, we are a "Yellow Ribbon School," and we have a wide variety of programs and degrees that support the educational goals of military personnel and veterans.

Missouri National Guard

In October 2012, Lindenwood and the Missouri National Guard joined forces to create new programs that fill the needs of this important branch of the military.  At the same time, we opened the Veterans Affairs Center on our St. Charles campus to serve as a welcome and resource center to all military members.  Lindenwood is proud to be of service to military scholars and looks forward to a long and productive partnership with the Missouri National Guard.

Online Degrees

Lindenwood University recently developed two new online degree programs at the request of the National Guard.  The BA in Disciplinary Studies provides a well-grounded liberal arts degree that prepares students for a variety of career tracks.  The MA in Leadership provides opportunities to advance academically and specialize in one the military's most prized competencies.

On-ground Degrees

Many military members have excelled in degree programs offered by our academic schools in St. Charles and Belleville campuses and at our numerous extension centers.  If you can attend during the day, a traditional day program offers limitless possibilities.  Our one-night-a-week evening accelerated degree programs provide a concentrated schedule that busy military personnel find attractive.  You can also choose evening graduate programs that meet two or three evenings a week on a semester schedule.

ROTC

Lindenwood University has an agreement with Washington University that makes the Army ROTC basic courses available to qualified Lindenwood students. This program enables students to earn appointments as commissioned officers in the United States Army.

Veterans

Lindenwood is a VA Approved "Yellow Ribbon School" university.  We are proud that veterans choose LU to pursue their educational dreams. We have dedicated staff members in the Veterans Affairs Center.  Stop by and learn more about what Lindenwood can do for you.
