The Plan to Reopen Campus

Roaring Return

Lindenwood University has implemented a phased return to campus and will begin the fall semester as scheduled on August 24. Lindenwood personnel and offices continue to be available for business by telephone and email. Each year two outstanding sociology students are awarded either the Jane Addams Community Engagement Award or the Max Weber Excellence in Sociology Award. The recipient of the Jane Addams Community Engagement Award must be a sociology major with a respectable GPA, who active in the community (campus or at large) and/or working towards social change. The recipient of the Max Weber Excellence in Sociology Award will be a sociology graduating senior with the highest GPA. The following students were past award recipients:

In addition, a sociology student is awarded The Jesse Bernard Award, which is an endowed scholarship provided to an overall exceptional sociology student who has a minimum GPA of 3.0. The following student(s) were recipients of the Jesse Bernard Award:
